I Thought 409 Was a Cleaner!

Um, yeah.... it's now also the price per gallon of regular gas!

*insert crying emoticon*

I'm thinking that my home is looking pretty nice about now, and I'll just stick around here as much as I can. Pile up my errands more now, just what I want to do, jam a bunch of errands into one day. Whoopie. At least school is out, seminary is done, and there will be some saving there.

Today is such a lovely day... dang it that I don't have a client.

Ya, the gas prices are freaking ridiculous!! I do like that you have the Beach Boys Song 409 playing on your music player though, lol! Now that song's gonna be stuck in my head all day. Good thing I like it :)

As for the whole Islam thing, I'm totally with you! I watched the Glen Beck thing, but when I used the direct link for the video, it said it wasn't there? I'm interested in all this.

My dad discusses this religion with me all the time. He even sent me this recently. . .

So...take a guess: The legal age for a woman to be married in the Islamic Republic of Iran is:
A. 11...
B. 13...
C. 15...
D. 16...

If you answered with ANY of the above answers, you are wrong! (trick question). The legal age for a girl to marry in Iran is 9. That's right, as in n-i-n-e years old. Several years ago, some Iranian reformists tried to get the age raised, but they were defeated in their attempt by the hard-line Iranian Islamic clergy. The holy prophet Mohammed married his beloved wife Aiesha, when she was 6, according to a historian contemporary to Mohammed (this is unknown to most Muslims), but he waitied until she was 9 to ...gosh...how should I say this??? Anyway, that is where the 9 comes from

I've also read many parts of the Quran and it's DISTURBING to say the least. Even worse is people still abide by it's words, every last one!
